Whitby now has a COVID-19 assessment centre.
Lakeridge Health has opened a testing centre at Heydenshore Pavillion at 589 Water Street.
That’s where there was a pop-up testing centre last month that drew long lines.
It’s the sixth assessment centre in Durham.
The other centres in are Scugog, Bowmanville, Ajax and Oshawa, which has two.
All of the centres are by appointment only.
