A Toronto police officer is recovering from minor injuries after arresting a man armed with a knife in North York.
Police got several calls around 7:20 p.m. Tuesday from people who said the man was trying to stab someone near Dufferin Street and the 401.
Officers found the man and arrested him when they arrived at the scene, but an officer was hurt during the arrest.
It’s the second time this week an officer has been injured during an arrest.
