There were 35 deaths announced.

It brings the death toll in the province to 12,075.

There were 2,944 cases reported Saturday, but Public Health Ontario admits case counts are an underestimate of the true number of individuals with COVID-19 in the province.

The number of known active cases went down to 27,957, but that number is also underestimated due to the province’s testing limitations.
