The province is adding 81 new COVID-19 cases to its total, but no deaths.
Sunday’s update also comes with 80 more resolved cases.
As such, the number of active cases has risen barely to 904.
Ontario’s case total is now 40,646, although 36,953 are considered resolved.
The death toll remains at 2,789.
This update comes after 23,813 cases were completed the day before.

As we often observe on weekends, a number of hospitals (approximately 40) did not submit data to the Daily Bed Census for August 14. We anticipate that the number of hospitalized patients may increase when reporting compliance increases.
