Poppy boxes stolen from Courtice and Beaverton's Profile



Durham police are investigating after two poppy donation boxes were stolen, earlier this month.

The first happened November 5 at a Tim Hortons on Centrefield Drive near Highway 2 in Courtice.

Someone with a blue coat took the box and fled.

Then, the Beaverton Legion says they had a poppy box stolen sometime between November 5 and 7.

It happened at the Legion on Mara Road.

There’s no suspect information from that case.
