The Region of Durham is asking people living in Port Perry to conserve water during the day on Thursday, November 24.
The Works Department will be connecting a watermain along Scugog Line 3, which is prompting the request.
The new watermain will improve water supply for residents.
The work will be done between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. November 24 and once it’s completed residents can return to normal water conservation efforts.
