Province reports 116 new COVID-19 cases and three deaths on Monday's Profile



On Monday, 116 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Ontario.

That’s a 0.3 per cent increase over the previous day.

Health Minister Christine Elliott says 29 of the province’s 34 public health units are reporting five or fewer cases, with 21 of them reporting no new cases at all.

Three more deaths were reported bringing the death toll to 2,722.

To date 36,839 cases have been reported in Ontario.

Of those 32,663 are listed as resolved which is 88.7 per cent of all cases.

More than 20,000 tests were conducted the day before this report.
