Province reports 157 new COVID-19 cases and seven more deaths Tuesday's Profile


On Tuesday, the province announced 157 new COVID-19 cases.

That’s 0.4 per cent increase over the previous day.

Of the new cases, 99 or 63 per cent are in Toronto, York and Peel.

In Windsor-Essex, 17 new cases were reported as enhanced testing continues because of outbreak among migrant workers.

Another seven deaths were confirmed bringing the death toll to 2,672.

To date 35,068 cases have been reported in Ontario.

Of those 30,344 are listed as resolved which is 86.5 per cent.

Testing continued to reach provincial targets with 23,759 done the previous day before this report.
