Province reports 356 new COVID-19 cases Saturday's Profile



Ontario’s daily COVID-19 case count is down to start the weekend.

The province reported 356 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday, at least 230 of which were people who are not fully vaccinated or their vaccination status is unknown.

Four more deaths were announced, which brings the death toll to 9,869. All of the deaths were from the past month.

The province now releases data about new cases and those in hospital who are vaccinated, partially vaccinated or unvaccinated.

There are 340 more resolved cases in the province.

The number of active cases went up to 3,050.

There were 26,767 tests completed the day prior to this report.

The province reported a positivity rate of 1.4 per cent.

So far in Ontario, 22,498,977 vaccines have been administered.

According to the province, 11,491,955 have at least one dose and 11,007,022 people are fully vaccinated or have received both doses.
