Province reports 378 new COVID-19 cases Wednesday's Profile



The province reported 378 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, at least 236 of which were people who are not fully vaccinated or their vaccination status is unknown.

Five new deaths were announced, which leaves the death toll at 9,886.

The province now releases data about new cases and those in hospital who are vaccinated, partially vaccinated or unvaccinated.

As of November 2, there were 25 patients from Saskatchewan in Ontario, 25 of whom are in the ICU.

There are 380 more resolved cases in the province.

The number of active cases went down to 3,093.

There were 32,950 tests completed the day prior to this report.

The province reported a positivity rate of 1.4 per cent.

So far in Ontario, 22,552,851 vaccines have been administered.

According to the province, 11,510,553 have at least one dose and 11,042,298 people are fully vaccinated or have received both doses.
