Province reports 654 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday's Profile



On Saturday, 654 new COVID-19 cases were reported in Ontario, 464 of which were people who are not fully vaccinated or their vaccination status is unknown.

There were also two more deaths announced, both of which occurred within the last month. The death toll is now up to 9,788.

The province now releases data about new cases and those in hospital who are vaccinated, partially vaccinated or unvaccinated.

There are 577 more resolved cases in the province.

The number of active cases went up to 4,592.

There were 31,123 tests completed the day prior to this report.

The province reported a positivity rate of 1.8 per cent.

So far in Ontario, 22,042,483 vaccines have been administered.

According to the province, 10,707,708 people are fully vaccinated or have received both doses.
