The number of new COVID-19 cases in Ontario is the highest it’s been in more than two months.
The province reported 728 new COVID-19 cases on Friday, 441 of which were people who are not fully vaccinated or their vaccination status is unknown.
Four more deaths were announced, which brings the death toll to 9,964.
As of November 19, there were 9 patients from Saskatchewan in Ontario, 9 of whom are in the ICU.
There are 500 more resolved cases in the province.
The number of active cases went up to 5,317.
There were 30,138 tests completed the day prior to this report.
The province reported a positivity rate of 2.3 per cent.
So far in Ontario, 22,791,463 vaccines have been administered.
According to the province, 11,583,723 people have at least one dose and 11,594,309 people are fully vaccinated or have received both doses.
