Province reports 854 new COVID-19 cases Saturday's Profile


The number of new COVID-19 cases in Ontario has fallen slightly Saturday.

The province reported 854 new COVID-19 cases, 482 of which were people who are not fully vaccinated or their vaccination status is unknown.

The seven-day average for Ontario is now up to 729 per day.

There were 728 cases last Saturday.

Another three deaths were announced, one of which was from more than a month ago. It brings the death toll to 9,993.

The province now releases data about new cases and those in hospital who are vaccinated, partially vaccinated or unvaccinated.

As of November 26, there were 6 patients from Saskatchewan in Ontario, 4 of whom are in the ICU.

There are 580 more resolved cases in the province.

The number of active cases went up to 6,079.

There were 31,444 tests completed the day prior to this report.

The province reported a positivity rate of 3.0 per cent.

So far in Ontario, 22,895,217 vaccines have been administered.

According to the province, 11,649,577 people have at least one dose and 11,245,640 people are fully vaccinated or have received both doses.
