Province reports 964 new COVID-19 cases Sunday's Profile


The number of new COVID-19 cases in Ontario has gone up Sunday.

The province reported 964 new COVID-19 cases, 547 of which were people who are not fully vaccinated or their vaccination status is unknown.

The seven-day average for Ontario is now up to 761 per day.

There were 741 cases last Sunday.

One death was announced. It brings the death toll to 9,994.

The province now releases data about new cases and those in hospital who are vaccinated, partially vaccinated or unvaccinated.

As of November 27, there were 5 patients from Saskatchewan in Ontario, 3 of whom are in the ICU.

There are 558 more resolved cases in the province.

The number of active cases went up to 6,484.

There were 29,692 tests completed the day prior to this report.

The province reported a positivity rate of 3.2 per cent.

So far in Ontario, 22,928,466 vaccines have been administered.

There was 33,249 vaccinations reported on Sunday.

According to the province, 11,677,477 people have at least one dose and 11,250,989 people are fully vaccinated or have received both doses.
