Recall issued for President’s Choice cheddar cheese due to possible Listeria contamination's Profile



The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is warning of a recall on President’s Choice cheddar cheese over Listeria concerns.

The affected 250-gram packages of PC-brand Canadian Cheddar Cheese have a best-before date of August 24, 2023.

The UPC code is 060383837464.

Do not eat the product; just throw it away or return it to the store.

The recall was triggered by CFIA test results. No sicknesses have been linked to the cheese.

Symptoms of Listeria monocytogenes include nausea, vomiting, persistent fever, muscle aches, severe headache and a stiff neck.

Pregnant woman, seniors and immunocompromised people are at higher risk.
