Durham Region says watermain construction will be causing a couple of road closures in Ajax starting July 6.
The actual watermain is on Harwood Avenue North, but the closures will be on Hibbard Drive and Rossland Road West.
On July 6, Hibbard Drive will shut down.
It’s expected to reopen sometime the following day, but that’ll be followed by a separate closure on Rossland starting July 8.
The closure on Rossland is only expected to be in place for one day.
Drivers are asked to slow down and watch out for cyclists, pedestrians and work crews.
If you live in the area, you might hear some construction noise or feel vibrations because of the heavy equipment.
