Durham Region says road rehabilitation and paving work will be closing a section of Brock Road (Regional Road 1) in Pickering on Saturday.
Brock Road will shut down between Uxbridge Townline Road and Central Street/Concession 9 (Regional Road 5) at the CP Railway crossing.
Although the closure is only expected to be in effect for a day, bad weather could cause delays.
Drivers are asked to slow down in the area, look for the posted detour routes and watch out for cyclists, pedestrians and work crews.
