If you normally get on the 401 at Simcoe Street in Oshawa, you’ll have to find a new route for most of this month.
The Simcoe Street on-ramp to the westbound 401 will be fully closed from 11 p.m. on Sunday until 5 a.m. on August 19.
If you’re heading toward Toronto on the 401, follow the detour signs and brace for possible delays, especially during rush hour.
The off-ramp at Simcoe Street will not be impacted.
