Six new COVID-19 cases reported at Durham schools's Profile



Schools boards in Durham are reporting six new COVID-19 cases.

Two are at the Durham Catholic District School Board.

One is at Archbishop Denis O’Connor Catholic High School at 80 Mandrake Street in Ajax while the other is at St. Jude Catholic School at 68 Coles Avenue in Ajax.

The new case at St. Jude’s brings the total number of cases at the school to three.

The school board itself says there have now been 18 confirmed cases, but three are resolved.

Meanwhile, the Durham District School Board has announced two new cases at Ajax High School at 105 Bayly Street East and they say two cohorts in two classes are now isolating.

They’re also reporting a case at Glen Dhu Public School at 29 Fallingbrook Street in Whitby and Pierre Elliott Trudeau Public School at 1111 Beatrice Street East in Oshawa. A class at Pierre Elliott Trudeau is now isolating.

Meanwhile, the board has listed the following cases as resolved:

  • One case at Ajax High School
  • One case at E.A. Fairman Public School
  • Two cases at Eagle Ridge Public School
  • Three cases at J. Clarke Richardson Collegiate
  • One case at Lester B. Pearson Public School
  • One case at Northern Dancer Public School
