A stabbing in Toronto has claimed the life of one man.
Toronto police say they were called to the area of York Street and University Avenue just after midnight Sunday.
They say that when they arrived they located a man suffering from stab wounds.
The man was transported to hospital but he later succumbed to his wounds.
The homicide unit has taken over the investigation.
