Durham police say a 19-year-old from Brock Township is facing multiple charges in connection to a targeted shooting in Beaverton.
On the evening of June 30, officers say a 42-year-old man was shot in the hand around Highway 12 and Thorah Concession Road 4.
He was rushed to a Toronto trauma centre with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
At the time, officers said the man and teen had gotten into an argument before a gun was drawn.
On Thursday, police caught up to Kaydon Massicotte and charged him with aggravated assault and a number of weapons-related offences.
Anyone with new information is urged to call D/Cst. Guthrie of Durham police’s North Division at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 2674, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
