Ten new cases of COVID-19 reported in Durham since Friday's Profile



Since the Durham Health department’s previous COVID-19 update on Friday, a total of 10 new cases have been confirmed in Durham.

Four of the new cases are in Pickering, four are in Ajax, one is in Whitby and one is in Clarington.

The Durham Health Department says there are now 20 active cases in the region.

Two people are in hospital with one of them in the ICU.

The other 18 cases are being dealt with in home-isolation.

To date 1,867 cases have been reported in Durham.

Of those 1,666 are listed as resolved.

Here’s the regional breakdown as of Monday:

Pickering — 609 total cases, five active (four new cases)
Ajax — 504 total cases, seven active (four new cases)
Whitby — 216 total cases, three active (one new case)
Oshawa — 290 total cases, no active cases (no new cases)
Clarington — 109 total cases, five active (one new case)
Uxbridge — 108 total cases, zero active (no new cases)
Scugog — 20 total cases, zero active (no new cases)
Brock — 11 total cases, zero active (no new cases)
