Durham police have made three arrests following the alleged thefts of multiple trucks in the region.
Police say they were dispatched three times Thursday for the stolen vehicles.
All three vehicles were Dodge Ram trucks.
They were first called to the area of Stevenson Road South and Phillip Murray Avenue around 2:30 a.m. regarding a truck which was stolen from a driveway.
Police were then called a few hours later around 5 a.m. to the area of Longworth Avenue and Liberty Street North for another stolen truck.
Police responded a third time just after 12:00 p.m. to the area of Highway 407 and Enfield Road in Clarington after receiving reports that a stolen vehicle was in the area. The vehicle had previously disappeared from the Toronto area.
In all cases the vehicles were stopped safely, and the trucks returned to their owners.
Alehandro Nicolas Boucher, 19, of Quebec, was charged with theft of a motor vehicle, possession of an automobile master key and possession of property obtained by crime.
Hachem Elfilale, 21, of Quebec, was charged with possession of property obtained by crime and possession of an automobile master key.
Romenskee Colas, 20, of Quebec, was charged with theft of a motor vehicle and possession of property obtained by crime.
All three were released on undertakings.
