Three teenagers arrested in Toronto after woman slashed with knife, machete swung at officer's Profile

Three people have been arrested in connection with a slashing at Spadina Subway Station.

The incident happened Sunday evening. Toronto police claim an argument sprang up between a woman and three young people.

It is alleged that a boy spat in the woman’s face and repeatedly pushed her.

He eventually pulled out a knife and slashed her in the face before running away.

On Monday, police were called about a suspicious incident near Long Branch Avenue and Lake Promenade.

They say an officer was investigating a boy in the stairwell of an apartment building.

The boy tried to flee and alerted another boy and girl.

At one point, one of the boys allegedly swung a machete at the officer.

The three were arrested and later linked to the Spadina Station incident the day before.

A 16-year-old boy, a 15-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl are facing various charges. All have been charged with assault with a weapon (two counts).
