An early morning house fire Monday in Toronto’s Little Italy neighbourhood left a firefighter and two others hurt.
The flames broke out at a home near College Street and Manning Avenue around 1:30 a.m.
The 90-year-old homeowner was taken to hospital with serious burns while a second person inside the house was also hurt.
The firefighter suffered minor injuries after an object, possibly a chandelier, fell on his head.
