Toronto man identified as victim of fatal shooting in North York's Profile



Toronto police continue to investigate a fatal triple shooting near Flemingdon Park.

The incident happened in the early hours of Friday, at an apartment complex near Eglinton Avenue East and the Don Valley Parkway.

Police say three men opened fire into the building’s lobby, striking Chavaughn Jones, 32, of Toronto. Jones (pictured) was pronounced dead at the scene.

The shooters then allegedly ran to another part of the complex and fired another round of shots. A woman was struck in the leg and taken to hospital. She has since been released.

Another man was grazed by a bullet and treated by paramedics at the scene.

One other man was injured by broken glass at the scene of the first shooting and also treated by paramedics.

Investigators say the suspects drove off in a dark-coloured SUV.

The first suspect is described as a man with a light complexion and slim build, and wearing a light-coloured hoodie and light-coloured pants.

The second suspect is described as a man with a light complexion and medium build, and wearing a black hoodie and black pants.

The third suspect is described as a man with a medium-to-heavy build, and wearing a black hoodie with black pants.
