Toronto man wanted in connection with downtown stabbing's Profile



A Toronto man is wanted in connection with a stabbing incident in the downtown core.

Toronto police say they were called around midnight Sunday to the area of Richmond Street West and Brant Street, near Spadina Avenue.

They say 22-year-old Cyrus Alaei got into an argument with another man and proceeded to stab him multiple times.

At the time, the victim’s injuries were described as life-threatening.

Alaei is described as 5’2″ with a medium build.  He was wearing a black toque and a black hooded sweatshirt.

Officers say he was last spotted running northbound on Spadina Avenue.

He’s described as violent and dangerous.  If you see him, call 911.
