Toronto police have identified the victim of a fatal shooting in the city’s north end.
Floreano Lopes (pictured), 42, of Toronto, was shot Friday afternoon near Steeles Avenue West and Dufferin Street.
A police spokesperson was not officially able to provide details.
A suspect is reported to have driven into a construction zone before trying to flee. At this point, the shooting is said to have happened.
Jonathon Kozuch, 37, was arrested and has since been charged with second degree murder.
