Toronto police investigate three gun incidents in one night's Profile


At least three people have been injured during two separate gun incidents in Toronto.

Toronto police were initially called around 10:54 p.m. Saturday, to the area of Islington Avenue and Lakeshore Boulevard.

One person was found with serious injuries, and a second person was taken to hospital.  Police haven’t revealed the condition of the second victim.

The search is on for three suspects who took off in a black-coloured four-door sedan:

  • A white male wearing a black hoodie
  • A male wearing a dark grey hoodie
  • A male wearing a black hoodie

Officers later responded at 12:28 a.m. Sunday, to reports of gunshots in the area of Eglinton Avenue East and the Don Valley Parkway.

Toronto police say a black four-door sedan may have been seen fleeing the area.

However, they found no evidence of any gunfire.

Finally, police were called to the area of Bloor Street West and Lansdowne Avenue at 3:56 a.m.

A male was found with injuries, and rushed to hospital.

Police haven’t revealed his condition.

They say four people may have been seen fleeing in a black four-door sedan.  However, it’s not clear if any of the incidents are related.
