Toronto police search for two men after attempted murder at subway station's Profile


Toronto police are asking for help identifying two men wanted in an attempted murder investigation.

Friday, May 13, around 6:49 p.m., officers responded to a call for a stabbing at the Main Street Subway Station in the Main Street and Danforth Avenue area.

Police say that as a 23-year-old man was walking out the street-level doors of the station, he was chased back inside by two men.

The men proceeded to stab him with a knife.

The victim ran out of the station, but was pursued by the men who continued to stab him.

The suspects ran southbound towards Danforth Avenue while the victim was taken to hospital where he remains in critical condition.

Suspect #1 is described as being in his early 20s, 6’0″, with a lighter complexion, athletic build, short dreadlocks, thick eyebrows, and full black beard. He has tattoos on his left and right forearms and was wearing a black t-shirt, black cargo satchel, blue surgical mask, black jeans, and purple and black basketball shoes.

Suspect #2 is described as being in his early 20s with a darker complexion, 6’0″, with a medium build, large corn rows, and having a full black beard. He was wearing a black sweater with a large white front logo, dark grey shorts, and grey, purple and black basketball shoes.
