Toronto police trying to ID man after violent robbery at TTC station's Profile



Toronto police are asking for help identifying a man accused of choking out someone at a TTC station before robbing them.

It happened at the Pioneer Village TTC Station around 9:15 p.m. April 12.

The victim was on a northbound TTC train and when it arrived at the station, the victim got off and was followed by the man.

Once on the platform, police say the man grabbed the victim from behind in a chokehold and held him until he lost consciousness.

The suspect then took the victim’s belongings and fled.

The man was wearing a black North Face jacket and black pants.
