Durham police are releasing surveillance photos of two suspects believed to be responsible for an armed bank robbery in Pickering last month.
Two suspects, both armed with handguns entered the bank and demanded cash. The suspects then forced the employees into the vault and took some money before fleeing.
The first suspect is described as male, Black, approximately 6’ tall, slim build, wearing black track suit, black shoes, construction vest and balaclava.
The second is described as male, Black, approximately 5’8” tall, faded black jeans, red and white Jordan shoes, dark sweater, construction vest and ski mask.
Meridian Credit Union is now offering a $15,000 reward to anyone who provides any information that leads to the arrest of the two males involved. Meridian advised this is a further step taken by them to help protect its employees and its members.
Anyone with surveillance or dashcam video in the area at the time of the incident, or anyone with new information about this investigation is asked to contact the Major Crime Robbery Unit at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 5355.
